I woke up and felt like putting some music out today
so I chopped up parts from a couple different tracks that have been laying around
some of you may have heard some of these
and some of you may have heard none of these

Save A Spot(Prod.JakeOne)-
This (verse) is basically my take on some Erykah Badu, 'See Ya Next Lifetime...' type of track, only I'd say its a little bit harder, and speaks a little (lot) more brashly about similar situations.
Well maybe this is like the mC version of Fabolous' 'Can't let You Go'
I dunno..a mix of the two really...
I hope ya'll can relate, enjoy etc, etc, this joint.

This (verse) kinda just came out the blue, I heard the beat and wrote the track when I was at home..and on this track I just felt like talking about (down ass) girls and how/why we love them..and one in particular.

NoSavior(Prod.Dwele)-
This track basically arose out of someone telling me that they like my music, and i'm like as much as I would like to be that dude to come and take sh*t over and change the game and all that, I know i'm not that, I'm just a dude who likes to rap and make music...the 2nd verse covers the topic of people not supporting local music... complete with a shout out to ChrisBarz, IceTheVillain, MouseakaTheWaldorfPosterBoy, and XO...and lyrically its pretty simple..i just wanted to get the point across...even tho' I like (really) like the sing-songy flow of the first verse.

And Secondly
I've had a couple of conversations about the nature of content of my blog
and some people would like to know a little bit more about me, or so it seems. But I'm old enough to keep some things to myself. Honestly, I'm too honest and too open of a person to really keep a blog detailing my different thoughts, actions and emotions. I also know enough so that I don't feel an overbearing sense of hopelessness, or pointlessness that would lead my blog to read like some random catalog of teenage angst published for the world to see, plus I already did that ::chuckles::[(c)Xanga and/or LiveJournal].

In addition to that, there are so many things that are better left unsaid, and because of that I've made a conscious decision to blog in a specific way, where if I were to look at the different posts, I'd know exactly whats going on in my life, my head, and with everyone else who's close to me at the time. I take random, unscripted photographs of LIFE and my favorite ones make the blog. This isn't intended to be a photoblog in the sense that, these are beautiful pictures that I've taken, because (my) LIFE isn't always beautiful, life gets blurred, life gets covered up, life has its secrets, LIFE has its joys and its pains. So to all (3) of my 'readers', I'm sorry if I can't divulge every detail of my life (read: cause drama like shit), but this is, indeed, just a looking glass...just a glance at the whole picture.

When I find myself in (mentally, physically, emotionally) good places, I find people who are jealous, it never fails. I find people who wish to be me. I once was a person who saw people doing all of these seemingly wonderful things, and thought to myself damn I wish I could do that!, no harm no foul, but thats essentially where jealousy stems from. If you're not admiring someone's 'advantages' then you are may just be totally uncaring towards the situation(s) or (drum roll) jealous.
We all experience it...but people should realize that no one reaches any type of admirable place without without some type of work being put in somewhere, somehow.
So if you ever find yourself jealous of the guy at the top of the hill, remember that he climbed that mountain.
